And although its intended use was for scenery, I think it works amazing for gameplay too. Its peaceful and beautiful graphics make the best gameplay.

I’ve been using this preset for months now and can’t get enough of it! It’s perfect for both taking screenshots and general gameplay. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful – it really makes my game come alive!

If you’re searching for a vintage-style preset, try the Wind. It makes the colors more dimmed, muted, and calm – it will be a perfect addition to your game.
Make sure to read the creator’s instructions on the download page before the installation! This preset will not work with ReShade 3.4 and later versions.

If you’ve been looking for a bright and versatile ReShade preset, the Ambrosia Sims 4 Reshade Preset is fantastic. I like it because it keeps the original color scheme intact while making gameplay colors vibrant and saturated. And it offers a toggleable DOF!

Dove 2.0 ReShade is an updated version of the massively adored Dove preset.
This preset gives your game a soft, dreamy feel with its warm color and bright tones. It’s like a breath of fresh air for your game – it adds a beautiful, vibrant touch to your visuals that you won’t find anywhere else.
24. Sea Salt Sims 4 ReShade Preset by Solsticesims
The Sea Salt preset is a truly unique preset, as it combines such different things together. It is bright and vivid and, at the same time, nostalgic and melancholic.
The blur effect is magnetic! This preset will make your gameplay surreal.
25. PrimRose Sims 4 Reshade Preset by Ilya – Shriekingllama
I really enjoy using the PrimRose preset because it adds more color and enhances gameplay without being overwhelming or altering the original color scheme. Its warm and subtle yellow undertone is great for livening up the Sims 4 experience.
Just make sure to turn off DOF and MXAO if you plan to use it while playing, as the preset can be quite heavy.
26. The Eleanora Sims 4 Reshade Preset by TalentedTrait
The Eleanora is another gorgeous bright preset you can use in your game.
It is based on the loved-by-everyone Dove preset (which you can find earlier in this article); however, it adds a special twist to it. The Eleanora has a more subtle and balanced appearance compared to the Dove, and obviously, it is simply stunning!
27. Ono Reshade Preset by Sweet Summer Child
What makes the Ono ReShade preset so unique is that it changes the gameplay subtly yet beautifully. This preset adds a pearly glow and skin tone-friendly saturation and makes your game look sharper, softer, and more vibrant.
Objects appear more vivid and alive, which can be pretty refreshing after hours of playing. Also, the colors give objects more depth and texture, making them stand out even more.
However, this preset is not for the gameplay. But it’s a must-try for stunning screenshots!
28. Paradise Reshade Preset by whimsy.berries
The Sims 4 is about to get a whole lot more bright and colorful with Paradise Reshade Preset by whimsy.berries! This preset adds a color pop that will make your game look like it’s been taken straight out of a Polaroid.
And you have to try using Magic Bloom and adaptive fog for your screenshots! the effects are lovely!
29. Clear POP! Sims 4 Reshade Preset by Amoebae
The Clear POP! ReShade preset was born from a simple request for a preset to create a “bright, clear, cool and cheerful preset that made colours bold and punchy, while avoiding overly-saturated oranges and haziness.“
Wow, that was an “easy” task, right? 😅 I have no idea how, but Amoebae has not only captured everything they asked for but even took this request a step further!
Also, the Clear POP! preset is lightweight and easy on your computer’s resources, so there cannot be any excuses not to give it a try!
30. Medieval Town Sims 4 ReShade Preset By Bloodymary
Unfortunately, the creator’s blog for this rather old preset is inactive, but I still wanted to share a download link for this eye-catching preset.
The preset has a desaturated but still bright and attractive appearance with a neutral and somewhat gloomy overall tone. This is an ideal choice for Sims 4 scenarios set in the medieval era with a range of dark brown hues.
31. Pumpkin Pie Sims 4 Reshade Preset by Softpine
This preset adds a beautiful autumnal glow to your game with warm oranges and yellows that will make your Sim’s world feel like it’s been dipped in pumpkin spice.
This preset is also rather old and has been abandoned by its creator (such a shame!). But it’s so pretty that I could not exclude it from this list.
32. Blogueira Sims 4 Reshade Preset by Serenity
The Blogueira preset adds a dreamy and romantic atmosphere to your Sims scenarios.
Its warm pink undertones make it perfect for both taking screenshots and using in-game. However, turn off bloom, cinematic depth of field, and mxao for a better gameplay experience.
33. Solaris Sims 4 Reshade Preset by Honeybench
The Solaris preset by Honeybench adds much character and brightness to your screenshots. This is yet another rather old preset, but it must be included as it is so unique. It is simply a must-have despite its age.
The sunrises and sunsets are especially stunning with this preset installed. The sky is painted in a romantic pink hue as the sun sets, while the sunrises are a brilliant orange.

With this preset, Elaina has managed to create a vibrant and captivating atmosphere that makes the game come alive. The colors are more vivid and intense than ever before – the lighting is brighter, the contrast is sharper, and the saturation is higher.
36. Cotton Sims 4 Reshade Preset by Ophernelia
The Cotton preset by Ophernelia is simply amazing! It adds brightness and softness to your gameplay, without overwhelming or drawing too much of your attention to it.
